A is for Africa has built two preschool classrooms and other components of the physical infrastructure.

SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

 

A is for Africa provides one hot meal to each student at Matim every day. We can provide a traditional porridge lunch for approximately 11 cents per student per day.

A is for Africa has launched Matim's first library with titles in both Swahili and English.

CLUBS

 

A is for Africa has launched a number of student clubs run by Matim teachers. The first clubs to launch include computer, sewing and gardening clubs.

TEACHER TRAINING & APPRECIATION

 

A is for Africa established the first computer lab at Matim to support the teachers in their lesson planning, delivery, and grading. We also recognize the outstanding contributions of our teachers though a Teacher of the Month program.
